We are unschooling parents raising five children in North-central New Jersey. Strong adherents of reason and believers in individual freedom, we are atheist and libertarian. We met at Oberlin College in 1990 and have lived happily ever after. We really don’t have time to keep up a blog, so expect posts to be sporadic. However, should you leave a comment with invalid conclusions or faulty premises, expect at least one essay-length rebuttal.
Rebecca studied psychology at Oberlin and school psychology at Rutgers University. She is a (mostly) stay-at-home mom, working two days a week in a neuroscience laboratory. The bulk of her time is spent with household responsibilities and unschooling, though she does get to sneak off to the occasional scrapbooking crop.
Johnathan studied music composition and biology at Oberlin, so naturally he works in information technology. He still finds time to spend time with the kids while engaging in ethical and political advocacy.
